SCRAPBOOKING
Photos in drawers, boxes, under the beds and in
the attic. Rolls of undeveloped film and a
computer full of digital images. Is that your
problem?

Intimidated by those scrapbook page layouts
plastered on the front pages of magazines and
scrapbook pages by your “way too creative”
friends. Is that your problem?

Whatever your problem might be for not getting
your pictures in albums to enjoy, the answer to
your problem is… get over it.

Get over it and control of it by getting organized
and then just do it. You will feel so much better.

Don Aslett, America’s number one cleaning
expert once said (He probably said it more than
once), “organization is power.” Feel the sense of
“power” by getting to those precious photos and
memories documented in albums.

Faithbooking is simply scrapbooking with an
emphasis on glorifying God within the pages
of photos and journaling. Methods could
include ways such as using Scripture, lyrics,
and inspirational quotes. Prayers and
documenting God’s provision is another way
of glorifying Him through scrapbooks. One
purpose of Faithbooking is to become more
consciously aware of God’s presence and
participation in our lives, and to photo journal
these personal experiences as a means of
passing on your family’s faith through photo
albums. This discipline not only increases the
faith of those living today, furthermore, in
recording a living relationship with Jesus
Christ to future generations family albums
become a witness to future generations.
What is
Faithbooking?
“I will teach you hidden lessons from our past - stories we have heard and know,
stories our ancestors handed down to us. We will not hide these truths from our
children but will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord. We
will tell of His power and the mighty miracles He did. For He issued His decree to
Jacob, He gave his law to Israel. He commanded our ancestors to teach them to
their children, so the next generation might know them - even the children not yet
born - that they in turn might teach their children. So each generation can set its
hope anew on God, remembering His glorious miracles and obeying his
commands. They will NOT be like their ancestors - stubborn, rebellious, and
unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God” (Psalm 78:2-8).
