Scrapbooking: When You
Only Have 15-Minutes
- Sort pictures and memorabilia, file and store photos and negatives
using the Creative Memories brand Power Sort Box or Power Sort Min
or photo safe box. If you’ve gone digital – PRINT pictures, don’t let your
computer be your former shoebox of pictures! Use the File Mate for
larger memorabilia.
- Crop pictures – enhance by using tools to round corners of photos or
use the Creative Memories brand Custom Cutting System to easily
and perfectly cut ovals, circles, hearts, or other available patterns.
- Page Layouts – Depending on your preference, place your page
layout directly on your album page or, use the Creative Memories
brand Power Layout Box & Guides or photo safe heavy weight sheets
the size of your album pages to layout pictures, and memorabilia. They
can be placed like you want them to look on your album page. Stack
the sheets last page first and store until you are ready to transfer the
layouts onto album pages.
- Note: This is a real time saver. It allows you to pull stickers and papers
for the same theme such as for all of the birthdays at one time as you
skip around to each birthday layout that falls within the year. You can
visualize how the pages flow and where you need to expand a page or
delete a page to have all two-page spreads that look good opposite
each other.
- Enhancements – Add pre-cut papers, pre-made borders, or other
page ideas to decorate your pages. Leave space to journal, or place
journal boxes on the page. You may choose to journal first, then
enhance.
- Journal – Don’t forget the most important part - to tell your story! For
this 15 minute work segment, all you need is your album, (or write your
story on a journal box) and a Journaling Pen.
